What Sinclair Society actually does
Sinclair Society is an independent capital protection advisory headquartered in Martin, Slovakia. We work with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and multigenerational families to build and maintain risk-managed frameworks that protect accumulated wealth from the specific threats they actually face — not the generic risks printed in a brochure. Our services cover four interconnected areas: risk mapping and audit, insurance wrapper evaluation and design, legal ownership structuring, and ongoing strategic advisory. In practice, most client engagements touch all four, because capital protection is a system, not a product. A well-designed insurance wrapper that sits inside a poorly structured holding company solves only a fraction of the problem. We work across the whole picture. We operate primarily in Slovakia and the broader Central European market, though a meaningful share of our clients hold assets across multiple EU jurisdictions. Our advisory approach is deliberately fee-based and commission-free — we are not compensated by any financial product provider, insurer, or fund. That independence is the foundation of every recommendation we make.
How we work — and what we can't promise
We founded Sinclair Society in Martin in 2014 with a specific conviction: that Central European families and entrepreneurs needed access to the kind of discreet, conflict-free wealth protection advisory that had historically been the preserve of clients with Swiss private banking relationships. In the decade since, we've completed over 130 structured advisory engagements and maintained long-term retainer relationships with clients whose combined protected assets run into the hundreds of millions of euros. Our team operates from an azure-trust ethos — calm, clear, and built for the long term — not the high-pressure, commission-driven environment that characterises much of the broader financial services industry. We should also be honest about what we don't do and where results aren't fully within our control. We don't manage money, execute trades, or hold assets in custody. We don't guarantee specific outcomes from insurance wrappers or structural arrangements — tax law changes, court decisions, and regulatory shifts can affect the performance of any structure. What we can guarantee is the rigour of our analysis, the independence of our recommendations, and the quality of our documentation.
